Detoxification

Toxicity/Detoxification

Never before have we been exposed to so many environmental chemicals.  The air we breathe and the chemicals in our food, water, houses, and workplaces as well as the products we put on our bodies, and our mental and emotional stress from everyday life situations, all expose us to environmental toxins. These toxins accumulate in our body, from the multiple sources, and increase our toxic load.

A toxin is a harmful substance produced by plants, nature, manmade environmental substances, some animals, and disease causing pathogens. The term toxin refers to anything that can be harmful or hazardous to the body, or that affects the balance of the body.

A toxin can be internal (endotoxin)

and may include the waste products of metabolism, stress, emotional trauma and injury. Mental, emotional, and physical trauma, all affect our body at a cellular level, these internal memories in our system can be triggered and create ongoing high stressors be repeated daily or even hourly ,  in return creating trauma physically at a cellular level! In return creates a toxic internal (endotoxin) environment.

Don’t underestimate the power of the mind,

We are what we think, and we are capable of adjusting our mindset and controlling past trauma stress into future balance of peace/calm. When acknowledging the past stress or trauma, And replacing that with a new thought attached to that trigger, with ongoing repetition this can possibly switch up the previous trauma trigger to the replaced thought acknowledge process. Just like your computer, your brain can be reprogrammed, it takes practice, patience, and persistence.

An external toxin
An external toxin (exotoxin) may include food, water, air, pesticides, noise, radiation and environmental chemicals.  The accumulation of these toxins may result in any number of symptoms such as fatigue and lack of energy, “brain fog”, headaches, allergies or sinus congestion, body aches or pain, anxiety, constipation or digestive complaints, insomnia or chemical sensitivities.  These issues may be manageable at first, but then gradually may result in degenerative diseases, autoimmune diseases, neurological dysfunction, and endocrine of hormonal imbalances.

These chemicals interact synergistically in the body to increase their negative effects, which burden our bodies and overwhelm our natural detoxification pathways.  Our detoxification organs – kidneys, liver, lymph, lungs, intestines, and skin – work hard each day to address such exposure. However, due to factors such as genetics, stress levels, dietary issues, lifestyle practices, nutritional balance, and exposure levels, our ability to neutralize and excrete these toxins may vary.

Unless we take active steps

unless we take active steps to address toxic exposure, our health may be affected to varying degrees. Naturopathic and Holistic Nutritional detoxification, supplementation and immune restoration therapies for  general cleansing and to eliminate heavy metals and environmental toxicities are an important aspect of a Naturopathic Holistic Whole health approach.

The exotoxin it’s easier to pinpoint via testing, food for thought… Be aware of your thoughts, your words, your actions, all create mental, emotional stress on our physical body. We are in our control, we just tend to be creatures of habit, As crazy as it is, the triggers from our past are familiar to us and unfamiliarity and making changes is difficult when its  attached to a mental emotional state, but be mindful of your thoughts, this is a good start for everyone daily to take deep breath‘s and think before they speak. Slowing down and thinking before we speak allows us to address and acknowledge these triggers. Journaling and writing them down even takes it to a deeper level, Replacing them with positive thoughts words even visualize actions, Can start creating a mental emotional lifestyle change.
